Third, it's an excellent start of learning other Romance languages; for example, Italian, Spanish, Romanian and Portuguese. If you're an English speaker, there's some great news for you: there's actually quite a lot of words in English that comes French. According to Babbel magazine all of these words certainly are of French origin: camouflage, elan, maneuver, panache, amuse, chic, avant-garde, envoy, parachute, restaurant, roulette and rendzevous.5
As soon as one has started learning French and can understand the basics, the world of culture opens up – and that's the most beautiful part. After all, French is known as the language of romance and there's nothing more romantic than flirting with a loved in French, reading love-poetry or watching one of the awesome rom-coms in French, or a dramatic one that's still most likely about love. In brief, main reasons for studying the French language and culture is the act of getting to know all of the aspects of the intelligent and artistic French culture, the important job opportunities the language itself gives the learner and speaker and the base for learning other languages, especially those of Romance origin. As philosopher Teilhard Chardin has said: "You are not a human being in search of a spiritual experience. You are a spiritual being immersed in a human experience."6 And learning a beautiful language is definitely a humanly and a charming experience.
