Having done the research on “the Function of Smell in O. Wilde’s Novel the Picture of Dorian Gray” firstly, it is worth to mention that it is thanks to Oscar Wilde Aesthetic movement lives. The world of people is a sensory world. Sounds, colours, smells, texture of things and objects define and make it as we see or want to see it, as we feel it.
