Avon was established in the USA over 120 years ago by a 28 year old door-to-door bookseller, David McConnell. He discovered that the rose oil perfumes he was giving away as an added customer incentive were the very reason women were buying his books. The scene was set for him to realise a big dream, a fast-moving product line of superior quality merchandise, sold by a vast network of spirited entrepreneurs direct from the manufacturer to the homes of consumers. Now Avon is the world's leading direct seller of beauty and related products, reaching women in over 120 countries through 5.8 million independent sales representatives.
To order Avon products first of all it is necessary to find Avon representative (consultant) who has a catalogue of all products. After ordering products they are delivered in few weeks- it depends on sales representative. The way of ordering products could be much easier if the person who wants to order cosmetics just could order it by himself. It could be very comfortable for a client to get a catalogue free of charge in his/her post-box every month. Probably a lot of people refuse to order products because they don’t want to spend time for searching sales representative. So, if somebody gets the catalogue in his/ her post- box he/she can order products by calling to Avon office or order them on the internet without any consultant. After about one week it could be delivered in following city post office and client could receive it without any middleman.…
