In our research we will look at a limited company Islande Hotel. Islande Hotel is a relatively new hotel, which was opened in March of 2006. This hotel is graded as four star hotel and is located nearby the center of Riga. Alongside 205 well equipped suites for guests, hotel provides the visitors with different kinds of entertainment and relaxation opportunities: bowling, two restaurants, games room, SPA and gym. Also Islande Hotel provides the guests with various other services as excursion arranging, car-rent, post services, translators etc.
At the early stages of development it was agreed upon that Islande Hotel will be an upper class tourist hotel, i.e. to provide a four star hotel services at three star hotel prices. During the first two operational years, the hotel is already approaching the top ten tourist hotels in Latvia. The future vision for Islande Hotel is to make branch enterprises and operate also abroad- in Tallinn or Vilnius.
The hotel is build upon dormitory foundations, nevertheless the adjustments of the designers and interior team made it possible to make Islande Hotel one of the brightest and neatest hotels in Riga.
