Preparation and Electrochemical Properties of LiFePO4/C/G Nanocomposite Cathode for Lithium Ion Batteries
LFP/C/G samples were prepared in two different ways: by mixing GO and LFP/C via ball milling and magnetic stirring. Some LFP particles were anchored on graphene nanosheets. SEM shows that the route of preparation does indeed influence the overall structure and morphology
of the material with mixing by stirring yielding a better dispersed graphene nanosheets. Initial electrochemical measurements support this claim and indicate that a LFP/C/G with an improved rate capability can be obtained when properly dispersing graphene
