After Net Neutrality: A New Deal for the Digital Age - analysis of 3 sentences

The author has conducted an analysis of three sentences from the book “After Net Neutrality: A New Deal for the Digital Age” by Victor Pickard and David Elliot Berman (see ref. 1). The particular sentences have been selected as objects to be analyzed because from the viewpoint of the author they incorporate lexical items that appear attention-drawing or challenging from the perspective of translation process. To be more precise, finding a relevant counterpart in Latvian has required a review of several translation strategies because local language resources either have not provided contextually suitable translation variants or have not offered any translation at all.
