"The Limits of My Language Mean the Limits of My World." Ludwig Wittgenstein
That is how languages extend the limits of not only the world outside, but also the limits of the inside world, i.e., ones mind.
The twenty-first century society is very multicultural and „colourful”, each of us differs from another, so there has to be something uniting all the people around the world, something that makes us a group not just a crowd. In my opinion, that is what languages are for – uniting, opening new doors, causing people’s interest in improving themselves and making this world a better place to live.
