Full Book Report of a Holocaust Memoir by Michael Quint, Translated from the Original French

Michael Quint's father, Andre was told by his parents that they were going out. Going out to the movies, with his uncle and aunt, and everyone was specially preparing for the event. Having never heard of the movie, the Bridge, Andre was still excited, but confused by the solemn faces of his family.
After the movie ended and the group moved into the lobby, the women went across the road for chips. The men headed to the bar for drinks. Gaston, Andre's uncle, pulled him aside. Nicole, Andre's father continued on
to the other end of the bar. A deep sigh indicated a prepared discourse would be coming.
The story poured out, the story of Gaston and Nicole, at the end of '42, beginning of '43.
