Biography of Anne Frank

Anne Frank was born on June 12, 1929 in Frankfurt, Germany. Her father was Otto Frank and her mother was Edith Frank. Anne had a sister named Margot; and also lived with her grandmother. Anne Frank is famous because she wrote in her diary during the Holocaust. Her diary was later published. The Holocaust was when Nazis (German soldiers) tried to take over Europe. The Nazis decided that the German people were a super-race and would murder anyone that they thought was inferior. These included gypsies, blacks, homosexuals, handicapped people and Jews. Over six million Jews were murdered by the Nazis. The Frank family was Jewish. …
