Biographies of Sir Cameron Mackintosh and Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber

Mackintosh recently presented the acclaimed West End revival of the Royal National Theatre production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma! at the Lyceum Theatre.
In addition to Martin Guerre, Mackintosh is also presenting on Broadway this year Stephen Sondheim's musical 'review' Putting It Together, starring Carol Burnett, George Hearn, John Barrowman, Ruthie Henshall and Bronson Pinchot, which opens November 21 at the Barrymore Theatre. Next spring, in London, he will present the new musical The Witches of Eastwick.
In 1995, Mackintosh's company received The Queen's Award for Export Achievement, and in 1996 he was knighted in the New Year's Honours for his services to the British theatre. Cameron Mackintosh is thrilled to be what he has always wanted to be, a producer of musicals.
