Darwin’s work transformed our understanding and perception on the planet we live in and we, our beliefs and lifestyles were changed. Planet Earth had to adapt to Darwin’s findings in order to survive, one more step in the path of evolution. Today we call evolutionary biology – Darwinism, and evolution by natural selection – Darwinian evolution. Evolutionary developmental psychology has become a popular framework for explaining human behaviour. His name still occurs in scientific debates more than often and there are no doubts that Darwin did more in his lifetime than most of us could accomplish in two. We still refer and argue with statements made more than 150 years ago. His theories were shocking, but now they are rational. The difference and influence he had on society is colossal, his work greatly influenced the progression of psychology. For example, associationism is now strongly linked with neurology. It is practically impossible to measure the impact of his findings and even harder to imagine modern world without Darwin and the theory of evolution.…
