The study concludes that technical translations are often used in the fields of engineering, architecture, construction and industrial areas. Moreover, this type of professional translation could save many modern-day industries. Technical translator’s profession is utmost importance when things come to accuracy, differences in format, compliance, cultural nuances and brand perception. The results of author’s conducted survey show that technical translation is more popular among legal persons than physical persons. It is an important, but, at the same time, specific profession, whereas IT specialists or programmers are everywhere, and it is well-known that professions related to computing field are more appealing in general.
