As part of my accountancy project, I am required to carry out a comparative analysis

of two products in our store over a period of nine weeks. In this project, I will look at

the differences in product sales, costs and profits over the nine weeks chosen.



The two products that I have chosen are Sno crumble 150g yogurt (strawberry, apple,

rhubarb.) and Super Valu 5 Jumbo Sausage rolls. The promotion cycle I have chosen

is PA 804.



I am going to discuss and analyze how these products where selling three weeks

before promotion, three weeks during the promotion and three weeks after promotion.



The three cycle period that I will carry out my analysis will be:


1st period before promotion 27.01.08-16.02.08

2nd period during promotion 17.02.08-08.03.08

3rd period after promotion 09.03.08-29.03.08
