In the case of the employees of Mergers, Inc., proper motivational approaches should be in place. This is very important to maintain the growth and stability of the company as the by-products of sustained and consistent productivity from the employees. With the restructuring of tasks and assignments in our department, uncertainties, doubts and anxieties could easily be fostered among the employees if the environment is left unchanged. It is an urgent action for the managers to employ the appropriate motivational approaches to the employees in order to re-assure them; and, divert any negative tendency that might arise as a result of the acquisition. Job satisfaction should be at its proper peak levels. This is always possible if all the factors that promote job satisfaction in the work place are taken care of. As mentioned above, if the determiners of job satisfaction like achievement, recognition, work itself, responsibility and achievement are addressed positively, job performance will be at desirable levels. Likewise, if the determinants of job dissatisfaction like company policy, administrative policies, supervision interpersonal relations and working conditions are upheld for the benefit of the employees; there is no reason to believe that employees will be properly motivated.…
