New Trier has changed over the years since Kozol last reported the school in Savage Inequalities. There are two New Trier campuses in Illinois, one in Northfield, and the other in Winnetka. The Northfield campus opened on August 2001 and started the freshmen program there. The classroom average has decreased from twenty-four students to twenty-two point seven.
