No country in the whole world can avoid of migration. Also Latvia can’t and it doesn’t depend on that enters Latvia in EU or not. However at least in the nearest 20 years Latvia won’t be subject to high migration flow. To understand better questions connected with migration in EU, we must divide:
► EU member countries commonalty migration around EU territory
► Immigrants from another countries- asylum seekers, refugees, flow of illegal immigrants.
Frequently there is tendency to mix up these two things.
EU is home to some 390 million people who, for the last decade, have been free to live, work, study, shop and travel whenever and wherever they like in the EU’s member countries. There are no strings attached to these freedoms. …
