Illnesses and injuries are an integral part of the life of any organism. They can affect everybody, no matter how strong and healthy he is. Each of us has suffered from them and each of us would be more than happy not to encounter them again. For thousands of years healers, shamans, and doctors are trying to defeat this enemy of human lives. Sometimes the medicine was the winner, sometimes it was the death. However, there was always one rule – the better medicine knew what exactly is going on inside the human body, the better score it had in this fight for life.
But how do you know what is there? You cannot just open the body and take a look! For long time medicine had to diagnose only by symptoms. A great discovery was needed to overcome this difficulty. This discovery came in 1895, when German physicist, Wilhelm Konrad Roentgen in his laboratory observed unknown rays, that seemed to be able to penetrate different objects, including the human body. …
