Conclusion
No one, I'm sure, wants to see reductions occur. Everyone at this point is considered essential to the team. For this hospital to continue to remain open, though, changes need to be made. It is important that everyone understand that efficiency must be increased and that waste must be reduced. Everyone's job depends on it. Equally important is meeting the needs of the patient. A uniform policy needs to be put in place and adhered to. If these goals can not be accomplished, there is a very real possibility that this hospital will need to be closed at some point in the future.
