Indrāni is a play, written by Rūdolfs Blaumanis early in the 20th century. Although more than a centenary has passed now, it is still taking its important role in educational package; many young people have read it at school and later as grownups given their children to read it, too. What is the key to success of this play? That was the question, to which I wanted to find an answer, when I started reading Indrāni last week.
