Managements basic process for leading and implementing organizational change includes creating a sense of urgency, creating a guiding coalition and mobilizing commitment, developing and communicating a shared vision, empowering employees, generating short-term wins, consolidation gain, anchoring the new ways of doing things, and monitoring progress and adjusting the vision.

There are three important functions if you are a change leader. They include the need for charismatic leadership, instrumental leadership and missionary leadership.
Organizational development is an approach to organizational change that involves getting the employees involved by letting them analyze the problem.
