There have never been more apportunities to get creative with graphic design. Whether you are doing it for fun on your own or a family group, or whether you run a small business at home, the PC and Apple Mac computers, low-cost digital photography, and desktop scanners have put the whole word of design at your fingertips.
So what are the principles of good design? It’s simple to say it, but it should be attractive, easy to read, and give a good general idea of what the message is – and that message might be a literal one, or an emotion, a mood, perhaps even a set of values.
Such things do not happen by chance; having some design or image-editing software doesn’t mean you will be able to churn out good design by simply hitting a button or clicking your mouse.…
