History
1870 – the German manufacturer Theodore Rigert founded the first candy factory in Riga and gave it his name.
1925 - the factory was renamed into a trading-manufacturing joint stock company Laima.
1938 – Laima was a recognized leader occupying 39% of the market of sweets in Latvia and 79% of the export market.
1993 - Laima was privatised and became
a joint stock company.
Mission – to become the number one confectionary production enterprise in the Baltic which offers wide range of qualitative products.
The main goal – to continue development by improving the quality, broadening the range of products and gaining new markets.…
