It's a cool summers evening, and you are walking towards a moonlit lake. You can hear only the soft rippling of the water.
You take off your shoes and socks, just standing with your bare feet on the grassy verge next to the waters edge. You dip your toe into the water, its cool, but your skin is warm.
You begin to shed your clothes, still staring at the water, looking at the huge moon reflected on the surface of the lake. Lots of little sparkling stars are watching you from above. You imagine they are smiling at you, willing you to go on.
You stand there for a minute, gazing up now, looking and smiling at the sky. Now you approach the waters edge, your foot enters, and you feel a tingle go through your body as the coolness creeps over your toes and up your ankle. You put the other foot in, and smile to yourself. You imagine that you are waiting for someone to arrive. You imagine that the stars are reading your thoughts, and pretend that you are aware of a new onlooker, watching from behind the trees, just waiting for the right moment to come to you....
