All in all, prostitution brings forth broad thoughts and opinions about the people involved in the business and also questions of moral and economic principles. Prostitution is a dangerous practice that some choose to participate in, while others really have no choice because of extenuating circumstances. It is an industry that carries both positives and negatives and is not going anywhere for sometime as one can see b the length of time it has been around. In the attempt to preserve the personal morality of average citizens, we forget to consider the prostitutes themselves who feel they have a personal right to do what they do. Ignoring the situation and selfishly pursuing only the goals of the average citizen is in itself morally wrong because after all prostitutes are people who have rights too. The government legislation against prostitution blatantly violates the rights of the prostitutes and puts them on a continuum of harmful situations everyday. …
