Byron’s romanticism is represented by the spirit of disillusionment. Byronic poetry is romantic in spirit but neo-classical in poetic diction. The surrounding reflected in Byron works are partly imaginary, partly based on personal experience. Byron explored human heart and he wrote not to express some idea but to express himself.
In almost every Byron’s work, we meet the true Byronic hero. He figures under many names, sometimes Muslim, sometimes Christian but he preserves his personality. The Byronic hero first appeared in Childe Harold’s Pilgrimage after that his hero is apparent in other his works like Lara, The Corsair. Byronic hero is an idealized but flowed character. His ex-lover describes his hero as being mad, bad and dangerous to know. …
