Introduction
Sooner or later most married couples feel the desire to create a family. Sometimes it can be difficult to do so if one of the parties involved is found to be infertile. Occasionally women are found to be unable to bear children due to past health complications. Both men and women can suffer from these complications which make them unable to produce offspring naturally. Learning that one is unable to have children can come as shocking news to an individual. As a result couples look to having children in methods other than those traditionally used. Alternatives such as adoption are an option, as well as fertility drugs. Adoption can be a relatively long, difficult and costly process. Another more economical option is to hire a surrogate mother who could carry the genetic child of the couple for them.
