92.9% of bathing waters at Latvia met the requirements set by the Directive, but there are some inland bathing places with standing water where the water are full of bacteria, and it is observed all over the world, it is happening more often at our geological zone. These bacteria’s causes itchiness, however, Health Inspection of Latvia informs that this is not happening only here, these kind of ‘’swimmers itchiness’’ is noticed all over the world.
