Sophie’s and Langdon’s research leads them to the discovery that the knight they are looking for is Sir Isaac Newton. They go to Westminster Abbey, where Newton is buried.
Harvard University symbologist has the cryptex, who was given by Leigh Teabing. He needs to open it. And Langdon figures out that the password is apple—the orb missing from Newton’s tomb. He opens the cryptex and secretly takes out the papyrus. Then he throws the empty cryptex in the air, tricking the Teacher, he drops his pistol as catches it. Suddenly, Fache, French policeman, runs into the room and arrests the Teacher.
The papyrus of cryptex takes Saunière`s granddaughter and Robert Langdon to Scotland, where Sophie meets with her lost brother and her grandmother. Sophie discovers that her family is Jesus and Mary Magdalene bloodline.
Langdon is back in Paris where he thinks over poem of cryptex, which leads him to the small pyramid built into the ground in the Louvre. He is sure, the Holy Grail as a body of Mary Magdalene must be here.
