The truth is teenagers have the largest number of attempts than any other groups. For every teen death there are 100-200 attempts. The last myth is that most suicide deaths happen around the Christmas holiday season. The truth about that is the highest rate is around June and July. Another thing is Mondays seem to have higher numbers of suicide that any other weekdays. A gender fact about suicide is that woman's rates have pretty much stayed the same but men's have increased since 1998.
