As for me, my English is not on a high level, as I’m not a humanitarian. However, I consider that apart from our mother tongue we need to have a common language which makes us able to communicate with other parts of the world. I believe that the advantages of having one global language far outweigh its disadvantages.
In conclusion, it has to be said that English as a universal language has great benefits and potential problems. However, having one language as an additional will definitely help humanity in many ways.
