February 1993 the first bombing of the World Trade Centers takes place, six Americans are killed, U.S. did nothing but try and imprisoned the perpetrators. In 1996, 20 American soldiers are killed when two living quarters are bombed in south Arabia, U.S. does nothing. August 1998, Osama Bin Laden bombed two U.S. embassies in Africa, twelve Americans are killed. The United States responds with cruise missiles, but they are ineffective. October 2000, USS Cole is bombed in a port near Yemen by a suicide bomber. 17 U.S. soldiers are killed, U.S. does nothing. All of these events made terrorist groups stronger, showing them that the U.S. was weak. These events eventually lead up to the September 11th attacks, and if history repeats itself and the U.S. did nothing about these attacks or would have pulled out of Iraq after the War on Terror had already begun, we would have just added fuel to the fire, making all terrorist groups stronger.…
