Furthermore, it wasn't only women who suffered from the under representation in the judiciary, this manifests where there are no judges from ethnic minorities in the judiciary. Furthermore, this under presentation for people from ethnic minorities is further evident where statistics at the beginning of 2002 entailed that only 1 percent of all circuit judges were from ethnic minorities; this further raised the question of whether the English legal system has taken like to having judges from ethnic minorities. However, despite this, there are slow, gradual developments that suggest that the English legal system is gradually accepting judges from ethnic minorities, where statistics entailed of some improvements made where 5.5 percent of deputy district judges from ethnic minorities this submergence may have had much to do with positive discrimination, hence that the English legal system is not seen as racists. Nevertheless, despite the suggested improvements it's still a far cry from the amount of male white judges that hold a judicial post in the English legal system.…
