As I read through the article I could see a trend in the management styles over the decades and how they changed to become more functional. It is with this certainty I can say that I see some small similarities to my Tribe. My organization is founded on a vertical centralized hierarchy style of management and over the decades that has not changed. Our type of Tribal management I believe is greatly outdated, because it does not take into account expansion for the tribe. It also does not take into account how people such as myself who live such as vast distance from the centralized government, are affected.
It is with this in mind, I can only make one recommendation to my tribe. I feel as though the tribe should change its style of management. I believe that this change would be beneficial to the people, who like myself live a great distance from the centralized government and feel as though they have no voice in the operation of the government. I believe that this change would greatly improve the relationship between the clans and the general populace, because everyone would feel as thought they were being included. No member would get the impression that they were only a name and number on the Tribal Roles.
