She is one of popular Latvian painters. Livija Endzelina was born in 30 October 1927. She has educated at Latvia’s university in architecture faculty from 1946 till 1948, she graduated Academy of Art the painting department 1953. She has taken part in several fine art exhibitions starting from 1960 in Moscow. Since 1964 she is a member of Artist’s Union. Mainly she is painting flower – pieces and still – life’s. From 1966 till 1976 she painted portraits of Latvian culture workers. Also she has painted many self portraits, few group portraits and many single portraits, she choose models among her friends.
