Hajj is a holy pilgrimage which all Muslims must try and take at least once in their lives. It is meant to be a journey to get closer to Allah and to help you understand your religion in a more spiritual way.
The Hajj is described as "an inward journey to the Ka'bah of the heart and soul" in one passage of a book, Hajj is also described in a Muslim dictionary as "the fifth pillar of Islam is a pilgrimage to Mecca during the month of Dhu al-Qadah; at least once in a lifetime a Muslim is expected to make a religious journey to Mecca and the Ka'bah; "for a Muslim the hajj is the ultimate act of worship". During the journey of Hajj it is necessary for the pilgrim to complete a set number of tasks in order to complete the pilgrimage successfully.
The pilgrimage starts at Makkah because Makkah is where Muhammad (pbuh) was born. …
