This book “The Enemy”, which was written by Desmond Bagley, is a very interesting and exciting fast-moving story. Better say that it is a novelette about a young man and his opinion of the relationships between science and politics and also of human character. I think that author wanted to pay attention on problem how the peoples get on with their attitude between their job and themselves. A report on this book includes three major aspects: theme, style and value.
One aspect of the book is its theme. The main idea is that the young man named Malcolm Jaggard, who is a financial consultant, thinks that in world, there are too many persons with bad disposition, especially in governments or around it. These peoples are covetous, avid, grasping. They act in self-interests and almost one thing is the reason of their activity-it is the money and all that goes around it.…
