Internet
Simply advertising on the internet will not be sufficient to attract the market as the web sites on which the advertising takes place will be the key factor. The web sites will have to be UK sites in order to attract UK based customers and will have to be performance or prestige car related. Even if offering more 'everyday' vehicles these will only appeal to local residents due to delivery charges but the performance and prestige car market is where BlueChip can go national and attract customers from all over the country. Automotive web sites such as circuitdriver.com offer advertising space as they attract the exact market that BlueChip will be aiming to advertise to. Other options would be owners clubs and forums where enthusiasts and prestige car owners regularly visit. They will also be able to target a variety of websites that cater for different individuals including birthdays and weddings as well as on holiday web sites where customers will be able to book a car they would like to be picked up in on arrival or departure from an airport.
The main advantage of the internet advertising is that the costs are far lower than Radio or Magazines, but the ratio of users who view the adverts to the number that end up making a booking may be significantly lower.
