The film steers away from stereotyping and gives us a glimpse of the sensitive side of prisoners, with Andy playing Mozart over the PA, much to the delight of his fellow prisoners!
Although the pace of the movie is slow going, there was always something there to keep you engrossed. Whether it was Red being cheeky, Andy using his quick thinking or Brooks pondering about life, you are sure to be entertained. Take a journey through Shawshank prison and you will discover that hope never dies no matter how dark life is.
