Our group had to find a wine processing company. We chose a big sparkling wine producing company, called Törley Corporation, located in Hungary. It is a big company, has the leading position on the Hungarian sparkling wine market, with it's 12-14 million bottle production per year and approximately 50% domestic market share.
For more than a hundred years now TÖRLEY sparkling wines have been characterised by tradition and quality and remain popular in Hungary and throughout the world.
We decided to enter to the Lithuanian market. In order to make an export strategy the first step is to analyse the external environment, in our case Lithuania.

Location: Eastern Europe, bordering Belarus 502 km, Latvia 453 km, Poland 91 km, Russia (Kaliningrad) 227 km
Capital: Vilnius
Population: 3,607,899 (July 2004 est.)
