When I first began reading "To Kill a Mockingbird" the first character that caught my eye was "Scout" the narrator of our story. However as the plot progressed I began to become more and more fascinated by the character Atticus Finch. What attracted Atticus to me was his patient and understanding attitude towards everyone regardless of their age, sex, or race. I felt a real connection between his character and the values my parents try to instill in me.
