Conclusion
You may wonder – why this voyage becammed so famous? Like we all know at least few great explorers who discovered another amazing things. So why Heyerdahl?
After 5 horrible years of war he began new era. Tired and disgusted peoples wanted to hear something positive. This journey was a proof of human’s ability and gave Thor Heyerdahl a global fame.
In nowadays many anthrpologists still disagree with Heyerdahl’s theory but there are no doubts about value of this voyage.
By the way scientists found out that some South Americans share some genetic sequences with Polynesians.
