Denmark is a country where farming has a big role of its economic and country’s total income. “The water is not a problem, not yet…” said Steen. He explained that Denmark might be facing problems with drinkable water in near future. An excellent example can be, that in Viborg the water reservoir or the “city’s well” has been put near to the highway, where it can be easily mixed with dirt, gases and toxic ingredients that can harm the people who use it on daily bases and don’t filter it.
Global Water Crisis is a problem, but it can be prevented and it will be prevented. It takes courage and faith. Preventing the Water Crisis is not hard, but it only takes to say “no” to things that we are very used to do, like a long morning or evening (or both) shower and drinking a bottle or two of bottled water every day. That would already be a big step in the problem’s preventing. We can’t expect it be gone immediately, but we should consider how many lives can be saved by just drinking a cup of tea instead of buying a bottle of water.
