Before researching this topic I was certain that rape was not a setback in the United States. However, I have found that rape, especially on college campuses, has become a major problem. At colleges and universities around the country alcohol has been the main cause of rapes. Statistics show that one hundred percent of gang rapes involve alcohol, and ninety percent of campus rapes have either the rapist or the victim under the influence of alcohol.
