We believe that the virus will mutate and become highly infectious again, however with this a change in our own DNA will also come. We believe that we will evolve or mutate to match the virus's mutations. Over a period of thousands of years the virus will change and us with it.
We can only hope that we can stay ahead of it. Labs have looked at the virus and have found that it is now infecting the people who had developed a resistance to the virus.
