I chose myself to write this paper about. I know my roots, my culture, my family, and the social problems in my country and how they affect my behavior.
I was born 21 years ago in Mar del Plata city. Mar del Plata is the first tourist city in Argentina. My father, my mother, my two older sisters and I compose my family. As soon as I was born I was given an ascribed status that is " a social position that someone receives at birth or assumes involuntary later in life " (p.140, J.Macionis).
