'"I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun.'" There were many examples of courage throughout the novel, 'To Kill A Mockingbird' by Harper Lee. Atticus showed a lot of courage, not so much physically but mentally as well. This is what many others were like, such as Jem, Scout, Dill, Mrs. Dubose, Boo Radley and Mr. Link Deas. Atticus stood out the most with his courage, which set a good example for his children, Jem and Scout.
