The story was an interesting story to read. More interesting than I thought it would be. But while reading it several thoughts and possible symbolisms crossed my mind, but almost none transformed to something worth telling about. I rarely find hidden meanings, philosophical messages or anything like that in literature works.
The first idea that sprung in my mind was soul and its unity. Richard was a man with a united soul, but Crossley – a man with a soul split in pieces. At one point (and even now) I was wondering – what if Richard, Charles and Crossley were the same person.…
