Russia is quickly becoming the "talk of the town". The world is keeping a lookout on the changes in political and economic issues in Russia.
Currently, Russia's integration with the world will depend on a combination of factors. The most important of these are the following: (1) Relationship between Russia and the West in general, (2) the amount of cooperation between Russia and the EU, (3) the capability of Russia to strengthen its government system, (4) the economic strategy carried out by Russia and (5) the ability of Russia to reduce or eliminate corruption.
It is hard to gauge what will happen to Russia in the future as in 2008; President Putin will be resigned from his presidency position and structure of Russia's political system might change, be it for the better or for the worse.
However, at present, it seems that it is unlikely for Russia to become a capitalist country unless the above mentioned measures are taken.
