What’s inhalation medication?
Medication breathed in through the mouth or nose to the lungs. Most commonly used to treat respiratory illnesses such as asthma.

Dry powder drugs may be delivered with the use of a pre-dosed inhaler or the ‘Spinhaler’ device which requires dosing with a capsule of medication. The correct dosage is set by the client’s GP and is measured by the number of ‘puffs’ inhaled.
During an asthma attack a client may panic and must be quickly calmed to use the inhaler.
Inhalers may be used with a spacer, which can make it easier for medication to reach the lungs.…
