Darba fragmentsAizvērt

I chose the theme under discussion due to various reasons, one of which is personal – I am a very cautious person, I do not trust people, especially after having experienced infidelity and betrayal. Moreover, the other reason of preferring the theme to all the rest is that I am absolutely sure and totally convinced that nowadays eloquence is something different than it used to be in let’s say 18th century. And hence I do not wish to speak of eloquence in the positive sense, eloquence that has become perverse and today even sounds false. And discretion has always been the notion that is unchanging and permanent. That is why I would rather speak more of discretion than of “incorrect” and “false” eloquence. That is why discretion for me is more than eloquence.
